Female Alpacas for Sale
| BENVENUTI'S ELISABETTA
|
$30,000 |
 |
Birth:
08/18/2006
Color: Beige/Light Fawn
ARI#: 30614703
Sire:Stone Mist's Commander
Dam: Augusto's Bianca
Benvenuti's Elisabetta is a light fawn, two-year-old female. She delivered her first cria, a brown male, in May of 2009 sired by Skywalker by Poseidon, owned by Flying Dutchman Alpacas. With Accoyo Augusto and Hemingway-Accoyo Nautilus in her background, this addition of the Caligula line produced a spectacular cria, and we are astounded every time we see him cavorting in the field. His fiber is turning out to be spectacular, he has the presence we all look for in a herdsire, and his conformation is impeccable. Elisabetta herself is just about the perfect alpaca, both in fleece quality and conformation. She has amazing coverage from the tip of her nose all the way down to her toes, with a beautiful long staple length. She is sure to be one of your best producers of show quality offspring.
Elisabetta will be sold with her cria at her side, and she can be bred at the time of purchase. more

 |
Birth:
7/8/06
Color: White
ARI#: 30614734
Sire:BF Leonardo
Dam: 4P Ricura 6624
Chiara is a curious, sweet-tempered female that gave birth in June 2009 to her first cria sired by AJ's Peruvian Valentino. We were excited, but not surprised, at the tight crimp and fine fleece exhibited by this little male. Chiara is a good milker and has excellent conformation. Her fiber is dense with a long staple length, as well as being fine. She's ready to be bred and is just waiting for the word from her buyers to get her a date! more

| BF GAIA
|
$11,500 |
 |
Birth:
02/09/2006
Color: Medium Fawn
ARI#: 30614765
Sire:BF Riccardo
Dam: BF Ottavia
Gaia is a sweet, even-tempered female with great genetics. She had her first cria in June of 2009, but unfortunately it was a stillbirth. The cria, a 24-pound female, was a dystocia and just too much for Gaia to handle on her first delivery. We have repeated that breeding as of 9/5/09, to Bisturi, the renowned gray male owned by Pine Forty Alpacas. We do not anticipate any further birthing problems with her, as this was simply a fluke of nature. Both her dam and grand-dam have had many easy births and we are sure she will follow in their footsteps. She is reproductively sound and comes with Benvenuti Farm's full reproductive guarantees. more

| BF Giulietta
|
$16,000 |
 |
Birth:
7/31/05
Color: White
ARI#: 1125429
Sire:BF Tuscan Sky
Dam: 3Peruvian Reverance
Giulietta is one of those sturdy, compact females that you just know will keep on producing year after year. Her first cria, Amaretto, was sired by Crescent Moon's Kirwin, and Giulietta let that color come through to produce a gorgeous brown male. She is currently at Stone Mist Farm in Oregon being bred to Stone Mist's Commander, a fabulous medium fawn male (a Nautilus son) that won the Reserve Color Championship at AOBA in 2005. Giulietta's fleece has remained consistently stable throughout her four years, hovering between 20.5 and 21.5. She has medium density and crimp, is an excellent mom with lots of milk, and has a perfect bite and conformation. more

| BF PRIMA DONNA
|
$15,500 |
 |
Birth:
08/31/2000
Color: White
ARI#: 820817
Sire:Peruvian Hemingway's Protege
Dam: Snowmass Legacyna
This nine-year-old white female has been the best producer Benvenuti Farm has had. She is a Legacy granddaughter (her dam is Snowmass Legacyna, now owned by Oak Valley Alpaca) and has Hemingway genetics on her sire's side (Hemingway's Protege, now in Australia). Her fleece is extremely fine, and her histograms have been consistent over the years. She has good conformation and a perfect bite. Prima Donna is the world's best mother and has so much milk that all of her crias have been healthy and sturdy. Each one of her crias has been outstanding in every way, and we are sorry to have to put her on our sales list. Those breeders looking for an extraordinary addition to their herd will not be able to pass her up. Prima Donna is currently open, but can be bred upon purchase. more

| BF Santina
|
$9,000 |
 |
Birth:
09/21/2008
Color: White
ARI#: 31464260
Sire:Snowmass Highland Star
Dam: BF Graziella
Santina is a little dream of a girl, petite, sweet and full of curiosity. With her amazing genetics, we are expecting a lot from her as she nears her production years. She is slightly small for her age but has been growing nicely since she was shorn in June 2009. Her fiber is beautiful, very soft and crimpy, and her conformation leaves nothing to be desired. We do not have an unrelated male that we can breed her to, and her price reflects that she will be sold without a breeding. more

| BF Tasia
|
$16,500 |
 |
Birth:
08/25/2007
Color: White
ARI#: 30858411
Sire:PHA Accoyo Stratosphere
Dam: BF Graziella
BF Tasia is a white two-year-old female with great bloodlines behind her. Her dam, BF Graziella, is an Accoyo Augusto granddaughter and a Nautilus daughter; her sire, PHA Stratosphere, is a Legacy son. Her fiber is commendable--dense, crimpy and fine. She is an affectionate, curious female who always succeeds in making us laugh when we're out in the pasture with her. In September 2009 we will be breeding Tasia to FDA Grand Slam, a champion-winning male sired by the famous Grand Moreno. This combination is going to produce a show-stopping cria! more

| BF Teresa
|
$13,000 |
 |
Birth:
7/20/05
Color: Light Fawn
ARI#: 1125115
Sire:Peruvian Da Vinci
Dam: BF Ottavia
With Victor on the sire's side and Augusto genetics on her dam's, it's no wonder Teresa has such beautiful fleece with a good handle. She is a sturdy-boned female and will be a great producer for many years to come. Teresa gave birth in June 2008 to an amazingly handsome male cria sired by Crescent Moon's Kirwin. The Kirwin crias that have hit the ground over the last couple of years have been potential show ring stoppers in their own right, no doubt following their sire's enviable record of multiple color championships. Teresa is an excellent mother with lots of milk (like her own dam, BF Ottavia), and did not have any trouble getting pregnant. We have not bred Teresa back since the birth of her first cria since we are downsizing our herd; however, she can be bred to any BF herdsire at the time of purchase. more

| La Divina Coralina
|
$7,500 |
 |
Birth:
9/14/03
Color: Black
ARI#: 852220
Sire:Happy Valley's Jockopora
Dam: BF La Divina Angelina
If you are looking for a way to get a solid start in the alpaca industry, Coralina provides color and proven bloodlines. Coralina is the daughter of Happy Valley's Jockopora, who has consistently thrown quality offspring, and Coralina's dam, La Divina Angelina, has given us black females year after year (until 2007, when she had her first boy). Coralina has produced two crias, both with silky, fine fiber, and has proven that she has what it takes to be a top-notch foundation dam. She has a nice handle to her fleece, and has a good bite and conformation.
Coralina is one of the sweetest-tempered females we have on our farm. She delivered her female cria, BF Veronica (sired by Crescent Moon's Kirwin) in September 2007, which was sold almost immediately. Coralina is a great mom and good milker. She is a solid boned female and is conformationally correct in every way. If you're looking to add to your black genetics, Coralina comes from a strong line of blacks. She is currently open and can be bred to the BF herdsire of your choice.
We would recommend breeding Coralina to BF Giacomo or BF Riccardo, both of whom have sired prize-winning offspring. more

| THE ADMIRAL'S PERUVIAN EPIPHANY
|
$22,500 |
 |
Birth:
11/08/2004
Color: White
ARI#: 1245950
Sire:Caligula's Accoyo The Admiral
Dam: Estelita AKA Lita
When we first took a look at Epiphany during a visit to Timberland Alpacas, we were totally taken with her sweet personality. Then, when we examined her fiber, we knew we had to have her! She is an excellent example of Timberland's superlative breeding program. Piff, as we call her, was bred to Victor's Hemiaccoyo Apocalypse and gave birth to an unbelievably wonderful male cria, Benvenuti's Puccini, in June 2007. Sadly, her 2008 cria died from an infection. However, we will be repeating that breeding, to Crescent Moon's Shiftin' Gears, in the fall of 2009. Epiphany is an excellent mother, with lots of milk for her cria. more
